Gayizi handles two things people find hard to bring up: money advanced between family and friends, and splitting costs on a trip. Every transaction is confirmed by both sides, so the books stay clear. Trip groups can split evenly, by amount or by percentage; foreign-currency entries are converted at Bank of Taiwan spot rates, and one tap settles everyone up at the end.

Scope of work

  • Product design: flows and screens for ledgers, two-sided confirmation and group settlement
  • Development: a native SwiftUI iOS app with a Node.js / MySQL backend
  • Features: Apple / Google sign-in, Face ID, push notifications, 11 currencies with Bank of Taiwan rates, receipt uploads
  • Release: store review, localised store pages, and availability in 175 regions including the EU
