Taiwan is more than its food.
Highers Island began with a simple thought: the Taiwan the world sees should not be food alone. Its mountains, seas and forests, its people and the things made there — all deserve to be known by more people.
It happens in two ways. One is building an “island” in Tokyo, where Taiwanese creators, curators and founders can drift, land and take off. The other is content produced by a team of agents — games, apps, websites and films — turning the island’s stories into things anyone can open on a phone.
