A rocky shore and the distant horizon

The Drifter漂浪者 / ドリフター

島を、線と色にして、外へ運ぶ。Carries the island outward, in lines and colors.

Just need a wall, a light, a room to stay in.

東京に、ひと部屋と、ひと壁。In Tokyo: one room, one wall.

Stay a while. Paint in this city, and walk it. Sit down with Japanese artists and curators — in those conversations, the shape of the island slowly grows into something new.

壁に掛けて、手渡す。Hung on a wall, then placed in someone’s hands.

In the space, a Drifter’s Wall is kept for new work. Limited prints, posters, zines and small pieces are seen here — and taken home. Japanese introductions and sales are prepared together.

来た場所を、語る人に。Becoming the one who speaks of home.

More than exposure: through exhibitions and group shows, the work enters Japan’s design and select-shop circles, and its maker becomes a cultural voice from Taiwan.

Who it’s for —

Looking for an outlet for creative work, or a new way to tell what an island feels like.

A cultural entrepreneur with both ideas and the drive to act.

Someone who wants to set out from Taiwan and land in Tokyo.

Send past work and a short introduction. Each one is looked over, then an online conversation is set up.
